I lived in the Southwest for several years. This land taught me about pictorial depth and the wild coarseness of nature. It has taken several years of experimentation to come up with a visual language worthy of transmitting this subject matter. I have found that an agglomeration of photography, religious stories, and Petroglyph symbolism are the best vessels for my message.
